Fashion Tech Week, the Event of the Year

Conceived as a fair dedicated to the future of the fashion industry, Pow-Wow Fashion Tech Week is an international event that embraces various topics linked to fashion.

Technological applications, robotics, smart clothing, sustainability, artificial intelligence and Blockchain are just some of the topics discussed. The event aims to explore what developments innovative technologies can offer to the apparel and textile industry, through the promotion and application of sustainable practices in fashion companies.

The fair is totally free, and all the participants, once logged in, will live a digital experience through their personal avatar. They will walk through the spaces, enter networking rooms, visit the expo area’s stands and booths, listen to talks, interviews, masterclasses and roundtables.

What should you expect to see?

After Los Angeles, New York, Paris and Berlin, Milan will host its first Fashion Tech Week, to take place from May 18th to the 20th in streaming mode within a virtual fair.

Time flies and consumer behaviours evolve with it, especially when we talk about Gen Z. Sustainable fashion is a topic that is becoming even more familiar in the conversations among young leaders. It is of paramount importance to get people and companies to understand new technologies and emerging trends that can drive the fashion industry towards a more circular and inclusive future.

Founders of innovative startups that have developed singular technologies, will meet CEOs of big companies, giving a complete overview of the new frontiers of the fashion and beauty industry. The consumer perspective will be represented by important influencers who have dedicated their careers to a sustainable and inclusive lifestyle.

Along with the many “business events”, different artists will take the stage to talk about their personal experiences. The latest trend of the “tiktoker”, who are content creators on the social media Tik Tok, is widely represented through the Defhouse. The Defhouse, with more than 15M views on TikTok, is the first Italian Concept House located in Milan hosting eight under-2o talents, with the aim of generating engagement through the creation of quality and successful content.

Guè Pequeno, Paul Cook, drummer of the Sex Pistols, the British band universally considered the most influential in the history of punk and Marky Ramone, known throughout the world as the drummer of the legendary band Ramones, will meet their fans to talk about their careers.

A great opportunity to meet renowned entrepreneurs, artists, startuppers, media and changemakers in a networking event solely devoted to innovation, fashion and sustainability.
